"Ah...," Ryou immediately regretted his words, tilting his head in an apology. "I'm sorry, that was out of line."

Although he disagreed that this had nothing to do with him, he ignored that and went on. "Yin-chan's fine. She's napping."

"After this whole mess? I don't blame her." He said with a chuckle. God, he's going to take a nice, long nap when this is all over.

If this had been anyone else, there would be an awkward silence here. However, Dante loves talking too much to bother with that bit, so he keeps on talking.

"I appreciate everything you've done during this whole fiasco, kid." He really had no idea how to apologize, but this was... something? He honestly has no idea.

Slowly, a small smile creeps onto Ryou's face. Even if it was a poor excuse for an apology, being thanked for anything seemed to help heal Ryou's bruised ego.

"Ah, it was no problem, really. I just did what I had to do to keep Yin-chan safe."

Oh good, that worked. Dante continued under the assumption that they understand each-other now. "Glad you understand."

"I do now...," he scratched his cheek a little bashfully. "I just wasn't very happy about it at the time."
